Awaken the Chakras Embodiment Series
In Sanskrit, the word “chakra” means “disk” or “wheel” and refers to the energy centers in your body. These wheels, or disks of spinning energy, correspond to certain nerve bundles and major organs throughout your body..
To function at their best, your chakras need to stay open and balanced. If they get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra. With new practices and awareness, we can learn to draw upon the wisdom that lives within our body and is emanating from these wheels of energy.
Unfortunately, most of us have lost our connection to these flowing wheels of energy. Through social conditioning and trauma we all have taken on habitual ways in which we block and armor ourselves. This chronic tension prevents the free flowing energy from moving through our body. These strategies that formed in childhood helped us find belonging and safety, but now keep us small and stuck. These fixed ways of seeing the world, constricting our energy flow, and minimizing our potential are at the root of much of the human suffering that we experience.
Join the Vitalist Institute lead teachers, Ryan DeLuca and Kaycee Joy, in this embodiment series aimed at opening and balancing your entire chakra system. Through bioenergetics and embodied breathwork, this 6-week series will teach participants how to work through chronic bands of tension in the body in order to get back to the state of ease, flow, and energetic harmony.

Women's Circle: Book Discussion of On Our Best Behavior
A SIX-WEEK BOOK DISCUSSION WITH LEAH GRACE
ON OUR BEST BEHAVIOR: THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS AND THE PRICE WOMEN PAY TO BE GOOD.
As women, we’ve been culturally programmed to obey rules represented by the seven deadly sins - and in how doing so we qualify as “good.” On Our Best Behavior explores how women have internalized the web of the patriarchy, and how we unwittingly reinforce it in our collective consciousness through our socialization, cultural conditioning and domestication.
I’m Leah Grace, I’ve been leading women’s groups for 16 years, engaging in a deep study of feminism for the past 5. Despite years of experience, I am consistently shocked at how I am still conditioned to the contracts of the patriarchy that I live within. This book organizes and explains the web we live in better than any I have found.
My hope is that this series helps you see with more clarity so that together we can take action towards liberation for all. Over the course of six weeks, we will unpack each “sin” with the first riveting chapter about the inception of patriarchy and how it constricts a woman’s experience in this world.
Held at “The Hive” Retreat Space. Exact address will be shared upon registration.
**After this last session, on October 29, we invite you to stay after for community time in the sauna, hot tub and cold tubs. Bring your bathing suit and a towel!
A Night of Song and Stories with Between Two Voices
Between Two Voices emerged in 2023 as a unique fusion of music and social exploration. This eclectic band blends intricate harmonies with storytelling, offering listeners an immersive experience that delves into the heart of what it means to be human on this ever-evolving planet.
With their lyrics and melodies, this musical project invites listeners to contemplate their place in the tapestry of all living beings. Their music resonates with a reverence for life and the unseen forces that animate the world around us.

Embodiment Series: Unlocking Your Emotions
Join us for this six-week Embodiment Series aimed at assisting participants in unlocking buried emotions from their past. You will also learn to feel, name, and express current emotions. By learning to gain a felt-sense awareness of emotions held within your physical body, you can start to learn to feel and express emotions in a clean and effective way. These practices provide participants more tools to be in a dynamic relationship with their emotions as opposed to either repressing or being overrun by strong feelings.
In this series, Vitalist Institute lead teachers, Micah McLaughlin and Kaycee Joy, will take you on a journey into your body utilizing non-ordinary state work through breathwork, bioenergetics, and guided meditation. These simple, yet profound methods will allow you to find liberation in your body, mind, and life without having to wrestle with your mind (as much!) You will be guided to enter a non-ordinary state which takes the prefrontal cortex offline. This will allow you to access held emotions and release the muscular armoring formed from social conditioning that is normally buried in the subconscious.
Sign up for the entire series at a discounted rate or simply the individual classes that work for you!
BONUS: When you purchase a 6-Class Pass we welcome you bring a friend for ONE free session. Please send an email to support@vitalistinst.com to preregister your guest as space is limited.

SOMA Breathwork Journey
Join Micah McLaughlin and Ryan DeLuca for an uplifting, high-intensity breathwork and sound journey.
SOMA Breath is a breathwork practice that involves rhythmic breathing and breath holding. These ancient techniques have been used by yogis for thousands of years and offer numerous benefits on physical, emotional, and neurological levels. Rhythmic breathing regulates the nervous system, bringing the heart and brain into a state of coherence. When this occurs, the body's systems (digestive, endocrine, lymphatic, hormonal, etc.) function more effectively.
Many people unconsciously over-breathe or under-breathe based on conditioning and past traumas. Rhythmic breathing helps restore the natural and ideal breathing pattern. Breath holding, the real magic of this practice, creates a gentle positive stress response in the body, enhancing emotional and physical resilience to everyday stress. Physically, breath holding can improve oxygen efficiency, activate stem cell proliferation, and promote neurogenesis. It can also induce a deep state of meditation and presence. Intentionally holding the breath triggers the release of "feel-good" hormones such as endorphins and dopamine, improving mood and relaxing both body and mind. Many participants report feeling a deep sense of peace, tranquility, hope, and excitement after SOMA sessions.

Understanding your personal boundaries is a key developmental stage that so many of us have distortions around. Your boundaries may have been breached at a very young age, leaving you without a sense of where you end and another person begins. Having soft boundaries may leave you feeling overwhelmed, stressed and frustrated. Without strong boundaries, you may neglect time for relaxation, self-care, and pursuing personal interests. Additionally, your familial and social relationships can become burdensome and unsatisfying.
You’ll leave this 1-day retreat with a strong sense of both internal and external boundaries. Your internal boundaries are related to your thoughts, feelings and sense of Self. You enact internal boundaries when you practice self-regulation and self-protection. External boundaries are established when you practice communicating and implementing your internal boundaries.

☕️ Cacao Meditation with Ryan DeLuca - August
Our heart is believed to be the seat of our intuition, the place in our body where we can connect to who we truly are. This brand new event at Vitalist Institute invites you to enjoy a cup of ceremonial cacao that has been hand-crafted by Vitalist lead teacher, Ryan DeLuca. Ryan will guide you through a gentle breath and embodiment practice to quiet your mind and relax your nervous system. The session will move into a guided meditation of your heart space, inviting you to connect deeper to yourself and your life.
This heart-centered class will recur on the third Friday of each month.

Divine Feminine Breathwork Ceremony
Women within the community have been asking for another Women’s Breathwork Ceremony. A space for the sacred feminine to emerge from the deepest parts of our body & soul. Join Vitalist Lead Teacher, Kaycee Joy, for a beautiful evening of sisterhood, cacao, breathwork & sound - all of which will be centered around the divine feminine and the goddess of love. One of the most potent ways to access the goddess is by exploring the practice of radical self-love.
The invitation for this ceremony is to arrive with the intention of connecting to a part, trait or quality within our being that you can nurture into its fullest form of expression. Perhaps you’d like to express yourself more authentically? Or embrace more lovingly your ever-changing physical form? Or maybe to find some space to reparent yourself with the sweet, tender care that you didn’t receive from a caregiver?
You will be supported in this all-female container by Kaycee Joy & Leah Grace. You’ll be immersed in the divine feminine spirit, free to explore all of your parts that are asking to be nurtured.
